Before the ink was dry on Front & Center’s LLC (2016), Alicia Ward reached out for help writing website copy for her new client Southern Protocol Bridal, a downtown bridal boutique.

Little context, Alica gave Mary Beth her first “big girl” job at Motley Rice after graduation in 2010. This is also a story about how it takes a village and none of us do this alone, but we’re jumping ahead…

 

This small website copy project soon turned into social media management, ad design, event promotion and redoing the website itself. 

 

A few years, handful of trunk shows and plenty of gorgeous gowns later, Southern Protocol Bridal merged with Maddison Row to become Maddison Row South at its new home on the iconic 8 Vanderhorst Street in downtown Charleston. 

 

Also coming into the fold, local wedding veteran Bella Bridesmaids Charleston moved upstairs bringing with her 15+ years of dressing bridesmaids and moms for big days. With great potential, this also posed a unique challenge of playing by franchise rules with marketing + promotion, while curating a unique, personal voice. 

 

Partnering with Alicia, the scope evolved to include any and all brand and marketing efforts for the 8 Vanderhorst team. These lifts would include a full-court-press PR campaign, COVID communications strategy and monthly paid digital advertising on to brand styled shoots, collateral and ad design, event management and seemingly everything in between.  

 

Today, Principals Ann E. and Lisa Rice have Maddison Row South alongside Bella Bridesmaids Charleston, Columbia and Greenville under their purview. As their ventures have expanded and evolved, Front & Center has been proud to grow with them and their team for 7+ years and counting.
